The Last Game...

...of the Season.

For reasons beyond my control, I wasn't able to attend as many games I had in the past, but the last game was a good one.  The boys played hard and they had all greatly improved over the short month and a half season.  Way to go North Fondy!

Take me out to the ball game...

Spring is in the air...the grass is starting to turn green, the early flowers are starting to open up and the sound of aluminum bats hitting baseballs is filtering through the wind.
In anticipation for the upcoming slugfests (or strikeout fests based on the age group) I decided to look back on some youth baseball photos from the previous summer.
Here are a few photos from a summer of 2009 game between the North Fondy Orioles and the Oakfield Oaks, two A-ball teams from rival small towns in east central Wisconson.

As always keep you head up..or in this case keep in down...

And so it begins....

I figure I needed to start somewhere, to take that first step, to take a deep breath and just go for it.


To put myself out there in the wilderness that is the Internet, to possibly face ridicule,  embarrassment or even, dare I say it, praise.
Who knows, I'll probably find all three.
